The paper was presented at a 1 day stakeholders Forum on Construction, Demolition & Disaster Waste Management. The event was organised by Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) on the 5th of December, 2019.

Climathon Hackathon is a 24 hours Global event happening simultaneously to create awareness on the climate change and other attendant problems. It encourages action by all to solve global climate challenges. The Lagos Climathon Hackathon was organised by the Environmental Law Research Institute (ELRI) and other Partners.

The role of an Association of Private Sector Service Providers in Capacity Development in Lagos, Nigeria. This paper highlights the problems of waste management in Lagos State before the restructuring of LAWMA, the capacity development programmes for waste management practitioners and the resultant benefits of effective and improved service delivery within the waste management industry.
